People are generally quiet but they’ll look out for one another if they see something that’s suspicious.
The worst is some of these homes are being turned into rent houses and they’ll let their yards grow, and some of the homeowners are not maintaining their homes well either, moved here 17 years ago and it was not like this.

The best part is that I can walk 3 blocks to the harbor. There's a famous monument right behind my apartment building, which is kind of cool, and this building is non-smoking now, so...couldn't be better! I can look out my window into the back yard of a VERY cool looking old mansion. If I need to, I can walk to the car mechanic, a convenience store, my bank, the liquor store, and there is a pizza place right on the corner.

The worst part is the tourists. Every time there is a local fair on the waterfront, a concert, or a parade, the stupid tourists will park in our parking lot illegally. We wouldn't care, but there aren't enough parking spots for the people who live here. It's gotten so bad management has to put up a sign and block the entrance with orange cones.
quiet neighborhood with large lots and plenty of privacy. don't know most of the neighbors like we did growing up

It’s a pleasant old neighborhood with a trail and lots of trees where the kids play outside and people wave. The down side is that more and more houses are becoming rentals so it’s beginning to look less tidy and lose the quiet and peaceful feel it used to have. I’d rather move now.

I do believe I live in one of the best places in the world; I have copious amounts of what one needs on my doorsteps, I live by all my amenities and have a 20 minute train link to central London without the costs of living in there.
Best: quiet and secluded. People stick to,themselves and leave others alone,

Worst: hot. Hardly any trees for shade. They were remodeling the pool and have been in no hurry to reopen it.
🙂It isn't a neighborhood. I'm about three miles out of town with only two neighbors.
☹️One of my neighbors is a hoarder and there's nothing we can do.

The best is the house we live in...the worst is it's location, too much traffic and not enough privacy. Oh well, you take the good with the bad.
SeductiveCactus · 26-30, F
Well, I've lived here for around 5 months and already 6 cars have been burnt out and left in the middle of the road.
