Depends on the authority proving the beliefs wrong ...and i dont think if one of the few beliefs are wrong,i should give up my belief .. religious and cultural beliefs are like a forest ..full of trees ..we need to cut those trees which are dead and fruitless but in that we must be careful to not destroy the green trees which can provide us shade ( guidance ) and give us fruits ( beneficial outcomes like peace of mind ) ..so i wouldnt adopt a second choice but rather try to modify mine owns after all it is my religion and its my responsibilty to uplift it.

It did prove to be false. Then they all proved to be false. Now I am a free thinker. A freelancer I was called a while back. I like that.
Possibly I am like a spiritual Atheist, if such a thing is possible.
If I was forced to choose a religion then I'd opt for either Buddhism or Wicca.

Hmmm, good question!! Since I think most religions that are based on "authority" and faith are full of whack I think the most natural thing to do is start my own church and declare myself it's pope! I'm thinking here....tax benefits, lots of media exposure for telling people they are going to hell .... and can wiggle out of it by sending me a massive donation. And, not to forget, my choice of cute men from the congregation!
