Depends on the authority proving the beliefs wrong ...and i dont think if one of the few beliefs are wrong,i should give up my belief .. religious and cultural beliefs are like a forest ..full of trees ..we need to cut those trees which are dead and fruitless but in that we must be careful to not destroy the green trees which can provide us shade ( guidance ) and give us fruits ( beneficial outcomes like peace of mind ) ..so i wouldnt adopt a second choice but rather try to modify mine owns after all it is my religion and its my responsibilty to uplift it.
