What if.. we built EVs that could carry 100+ people?

In quite a few places, it exist very successfully. It's in places where people are more fiscally squeamish about their own pockets where it is unlikely to progress.

I'd love it if my suburb had one of those.

Ooooooh that's waaaaaay to woke. But if we could make it to burn "clean" coal........(no oxymoron there).........then it would be fantastic.

That would require excellent public transportation in every connected city, otherwise the convenience of this high speed rail is completely negated by the inconvenience of being able to get around in the city on the other end.

Where are you getting the electricity from to run all the high speed electric trains when the grid can't even charge all the EV's that government's are telling us we must be driving in 5/10/15/20 or so years?

Nah, risks to many people and the cost of creating it exceeds the bank.

What if.. now go with me on this..
we keep stealing the money allocated for high speed rail.. and get federal cash injections to top up our money laundering scheme ? 🤓
