What if.. we built EVs that could carry 100+ people?

We could run them on tracks between cities. And charge like equivalent $30 a ticket.

We could call it…high speed rail!

There are plenty of electric trains, but they are diesel/electric trains. A diesel engine drives a generator and electric motors actually run the train. The diesel electric locomotives were much more efficient than steam locomotives.
