Did you ever get the belt when you were growing up?

On a good day I got the belt. Usually it was a fist or a kick from work boots

yeah. but i used to get hit until i nearly passed out, idk if it was by belt though. i don’t really remember too much of my childhood probably cuz my brain blocked it out but i’d rather get hit with the belt instead of metal objects😣 nah, i hope all parents who hit their kids end up in hell or something 🙂

I had discipline issues.. too much energy so yeah... Corporal punishment was used the belt wasn't the only form. The worst was a plastic bat but their excuse is they got it far worse than I as a child

Yes, but we (sibling/cousins) all did, so I guess it just seemed normal to us as a punishment.

Yes I got hit with a belt and a wooden spoon. My father was the belt and my mother was wooden spoon.

The boys did, the girls didn't. In some schools it was a slipper or cane.
