Did you ever get the belt when you were growing up?

I did. Definitely not something that I like think about, nowadays. Probably one of the most heinous forms of corporal punishment.

That’s horrible. I’m sorry you experienced that. I was fortunate that there wasn’t violence from my parents growing up.
