i held the door open for a woman and her two young kids at the gym and the mom didn’t say thank you

Hence I stop holding the door while people are passing through and say sorry when they get hit. If they can't say thank you, I can atleast say sorry.

A lot of people are uncivilized. It really contributes to my feeling that outside is ugly and hostile.

You should of told her she dropped something outside the door.
