Sorry for your loss. My sister was 4 when she passed. I was 5 and she was my best friend.

Look up little sister by new medicine.
If you are prone to crying maybe skip it but I promise it's good

Sometimes the sad and the missing are like tigers that hide in the bushes and wait for you to walk by to jump on you.
So sorry about your sister.

@SomeMichGuy Thanks - she was killed in a car accident.

@SmallTownMinnesota Oh, no. That's really rough.
That sort of loss really sticks with a person...
I hope that the distance in time has helped to dull the ache of that tragic loss, though I'm sure it will never go away entirely. [And if it doesn't, don't let people tell you it should; losing our deep attachments causes us commensurate pain.]
I have lost a series of dogs, a cat, and every one of them meant something to me; I'm sure your sweet little sister was a wonderful girl who was a light to you and others. Your caring through the years is a testament to how much she meant, how real the relationship was, to elide an old Elven leader of Tolkien's stories of "Middle Earth"...
I hope remembering her laughter makes you smile.
