^All of these are common talking points but I think the average person has come nowhere near fully processing the magnitude of the effects. It's borderline apocalyptic.

Shop lifting people stealing. Night clubs have security to throw out anyone misbehaving so why cant the shop owners have the same. Take back the goods and throw them on the street

Honestly, none of it is really hidden. The majority of us are just distracted by this, that, or the other thing. So we don’t look directly at all the fucked-upness going on.

I think we all do this to some extent to make life on earth feel more comfortable or at the very least acceptable for ourselves.

Idle time aka jobless / not working, non productive time spent, no hobbies, no exercise. Which I think actually ties into the social media addiction.

Religion has been a plague for tens of millennias.

Politicians blatantly telling lies and refusing to be held accountable. Not confined to one country.

Indoctrination at School and universities - means teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs, ideas, or doctrines without questioning them or thinking critically.

The process: Repeatedly presenting an idea or ideology until the listener accepts it as absolute truth.

Political: Regimes or extremist groups using schools and media to force loyalty to a specific government or ideology.
