I am going to try harder. I promise.

Wallowing in your own misery is selfish, regardless of the intensity of the suffering or if your time on earth is nearing an end. Maybe even more so in that case. I must keep reminding myself of this. If I am still here, there is more to do.

5 years ago I made choices and took on responsibilities that means I cannot take the easy way out. No matter how bad it gets.

It’s not about me.

It’s easy to slip into the wallowing when you’ve fought as much as you have though. You’re tired, I know. But my gosh, you’re also so incredibly strong and have a warrior’s heart. Let the beats of it keep carrying you to the surface of the water that sometimes tries to drown you. Let them give you that umph to break through the surface to feel the light on your face, reminding you of the beauty that still awaits you.

Your story is far from over, lovely one, and I absolutely love that you know that truth 💞
I think it's important that you have down time, where it really is just about you. You need the time to acknowledge your suffering and to take a breath. You just need to try and limit it as best you can. It wouldn't necessarily hurt to have a you day once in a while, just to reboot.

I like that attitude but please never neglect to put yourself first also. Sometimes we have to be selfish to some degree, because the only way we can take care of others is to take care of ourselves

Why? Are you wanting out more? Is the pains unbearable? 😳🤐 It’s not wrong to feel sorry for yourself to a degree 😳 your feelings and thoughts matter too .. not just everyone else’s 😐
