What was your “Screw it, I’ll do it myself” moment?

I'm not really well enough to care for my small garden, the only person I can find wants £100 just to strim a tiny lawn, so I've bought myself a lightweight strimmer with wheels on, I figure if I can manage 5 minutes a day at least it'll get done...eventually...

I have alot of those

That's my life.

My entire life is a string of moments like that.

When my son in law wrecked my kitchen & for the life of him couldn't figure out how to wash dishes 🙄

When my girlfriend had a headache.

My whole life has been that .

I've had several of those moments from resolving simple household problems to the day I was decorated in a shithole called f a l l u j i a h Iraq I stood up and did that myself too almost paid for it pretty bad but I saved quite a few lives and I would do it again

The first time I was offered a screwdriver?

Meeting my husband.

Every time I'm trying to talk my dad through a simple task on the computer that he's forgotten.

When I ask hubby to unpack the grocery
