Is this actually true? I don't believe it.

Someone under another topic posted this comment in response to a post:

Imagine being a stray dog in a place where nobody likes dogs, that's how men feel every day everywhere.
And if you cant figure out a problem, nobody ever comes to help you, it just doesn't get done

Why would anyone believe something so obviously silly? 🤔

That's not been my experience. I'm no more a stray dog than anyone else, male or female. We all have a shot at creating a sense of belonging. As for nobody coming to help, it's true that people will more naturally come to the aid of a woman than a man but it's not true that nobody helps men. I've seen many examples where men have helped other men that they didn't even know. Kindness is everywhere, you just don't always see it until you need it.

@Kuronekko ah, yes. the world is just and nothing bad ever happens to good people!
Convivial · 26-30, F
@calabaciteh not sure about that...
Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@calabaciteh lol im not sure how you read that from my comment. Effort creates results though.

Interesting how him feeling that way, makes him think that's how men feel every day, everywhere 🤔 I don't feel that way. I think that's just how any human feels when they feel unwanted though

I think there are a lot of men who just expect the world to come to them, and when it doesn't, its a societal problem. Women tend to be a lot more proactive when it comes to making friends and we put a lot of work into maintaining relationships generally.

@Pambie that's the opposite, no? Incels are systemically affected, by definition
Beetlejuice68 · 56-60, M
@Pambie that was my first reaction to the post.
Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@calabaciteh im not being dismissive of that. I am talking about one aspect of the problem. I said "lots of", not "all" to illustrate just that.

Maybe it’s their own life’s experience. Some people actually go through it in certain environments. Either work or life, I have seen people treated like that.
Castenmas · M
That’s not my situation. But it is for some men I know.
Cassieeeee · 31-35, F
I believe that some men probably feel like that, but "not all men"..
calabaciteh · 36-40, F
It's not silly, let alone obviously so. That kind of mentality just reaffirms his experience.

I've known friends who've gone through this

i understand it.

yes it's true though not exactly, when I'm alone it's not in the front of my mind
I've felt that way before too, but not as a man
Ferric67 · M
That's probably how they feel

and that's sad

@nobodyishome whoever wrote that statement
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I've only ever experienced that around LGBTQ people and hardcore feminists, like they despise us normal men, but otherwise it's pretty chill

It's their own reality. Let them vent, even if the generality is false.
Yourwildestdreams · 51-55, M
@Miram What’s that old saying 🤔 ” it takes 50 clicks to forum a clue “
His reality is definitely clickless 😅
I find it more silly that they think it it's gender related. I'm a girl and no one has ever done anything for me...but me.

Negative Nancy needs to try again. If you try to meet people with a frown. Be okay with being alone?
thrash · 31-35, M
it's actually true
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
Don't believe. What is mine going.
Yourwildestdreams · 51-55, M
Perhaps it’s the overuse of steroids and porn addiction 🤔. Just saying 🤷🏼‍♂😅
