i live alone, and at times i feel lonely....i only have my elderly parents for support and they live a good distance away.....at night when i'm in bed my thoughts race and i feel insecure, afraid and very alone....with no one there to accompany me or...

I struggled with this when my kids use to go to their mom's at night. It sucked I always played music, listened to books or watched TV so
I didn't feel so alone in a quiet house.

I leave my television on for the noise, and sometimes I even pay attention to it. I have SW, and I spend quite a bit of time online, AND sometimes I play online games.

So even though my cat has passed away, I don't feel at all lonely.

I have experienced this recently while being in the hospital. I'm used to a full house and lots of company so the quiet can be really overbearing at times.

It isn't pathetic. I write a lot here when it gets overwhelming. I've found a lot of care and support and I hope you can find the same 💜
