I understand your feelings. I was one of six children and my youngest brother has fought hard and fiercely for nearly ten years.

I want him to be at peace. Out of pain. But when he’s gone I’m the only one remaining.

I am very sorry 😔 my youngest sister tried to end herself months ago & she just tried again last week. I've been very scared for her & I worry about it all the time now. I don't know if there's anything I can do but I pray for the best.

It'll always be you and your two sisters - just because you can no longer see her with your eyes, it doesn't change how you feel about her inside.

That's been one of my biggest surprises about my mother no longer being here. Physically, she's not around anymore - but I still feel the same way and I still catch myself wanting to go to her house to see her.

Wow...no way to just offer a platitude.

A lot of others have had a similar loss, but don't let them tell you what you have to feel, how you have to handle your loss.

This is always personal, always nuanced, always special to those still here in ways which another cannot know.

But I do know that such losses are heart-rending, you clearly truly loved your sister. I am sorry you lost her in that way, and at this time. I hope the worst of your pain of your very personal loss can be blunted and relieved in a monthish...but grieve on your terms, as you have to, in order to honor the reality of your long relationship!

I am at a complete loss of words my sweet friend. I do know what losing a parent is like but I would imagine a sibling is another thing. Know that she knows how much she was loved by you.
