I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with strawberry jelly on them

itsok · 31-35, F
Hold up, there, lady. Have you ever tried a fried jelly sandwich? You make it like a grilled cheese, but instead of cheese, you use jelly. You should give it a try
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@itsok I will try it with strawberry jam. Yum...thank you 😌
SW-User
@itsok it was amazing!
itsok · 31-35, F
@SW-User 😁
GunFinger · F
I haven't had a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. I want something authentic. Like an American making it for me too.
GunFinger · F
@Coralmist yuummm!!🤤
SW-User
@Coralmist panera does have amazing mac&cheese.. is it wrong to want that so early in the morning?
Ontheroad · M
@GunFinger Exactly! Only an American can do it right! Toasted Sourdough bread, a nice thick layer of PB and just a thin layer of strawberry preserves to give it that special sweet kick😁
Weird because I wanted one recently, but only have a jar of peanut butter.
SW-User
@Colonelmustardseed I have 3 different kind of jellies and a triple berry jam that is begging to go on a sandwich with some peanut butter. Which has apparantly escaped to your house.
@SW-User 😂 “Escaped.”

Bonne Maman? I love their triple berry and the wild blueberry ones. 🥲

Get to a stove. Cut bread into small pieces.
Put those bread in a bowl, some water, and some cream, butter and sugar and milk, if you like. Let it all become thick

And a new Breakfast is ready for you.

@SW-User To the taste. Without egg, it tastes a bit more breadish.
MethDozer · M
@TheOrionbeltseeker How many years were you in prison?
Woe is you, who may not enjoy the sweet simplicity of PB&J in the immediate future, reaping the sour fruit of a forgotten grocery item!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
I saw some peanut butter and strawberry jam flavored Stout beer a week ago...I didn't buy any!!
I like peanut butter on crackers or a slice of bread once in a while but I only like jelly on toast.
Nothing wrong with a jam sandwich...
SW-User
@HootyTheNightOwl No. There isn't. But at that moment I really wanted the PB&J sandwich
Why not? PB is just a jelly delivery mechanism
Lostpoet · M
I can't do just a jelly sandwich
Lilymoon · F
You say jelly I say jam 😋
SW-User
@Lilymoon triple berry jam! Delicious
Iwillwait · M
Make Jelly toast.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Look behind the olives and pretzels... there's a bag of peanuts. Crush those and spread on bread. For the future, use a more organized way to secure your groceries.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User Do it! 🧐
SW-User
@MarkPaul no. You're just teasing me now.

I have no pretzels. 😭

How dare you imply I am disorganized?
You're not wrong. But how dare you?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User I'm sorry, but it had to be said. My job is to tell you the things you don't want to hear, but need to be told. 🥨
Ferric67 · M
I agree
Can't fake it

Another of those British/American words that mean different things.
In UK,"jelly"is a kind of wobbly solid fruity gel that we eat with custard usually at kids parties.
In USA its what we call "Jam",which is a fruity spready sticky stuff we eat on bread.
The word "Fanny" in USA means your "bottom",in UK it means something completely different,usually part of a womans body lol.
How you forget the nutter butter 😕
caesar7 · 61-69, M
What a coincidence...I thought the same thing last night.....I must buy a jar today!!!! I am craving PB..lol
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
I would love one too. I even have everything to make it. Being prediabetic all I can have is half a sandwich and not very often. 😢
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Musicman You can have a full sandwich as prediabetic. Generally 45 to 60 carb per meal. A sandwich is typically 40. 🦋
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@Coralmist According to my count half a sandwich is 32 carbs so 64 would definitely put me over. I could do it every once in a while, but not often.
My favorite pb&j is a thin layer of real butter, it stops stick to the toof, Skippy's honey roasted, with Smucker's strawberry preserves, on cold toast.
