I have a huge problem with anger management and I take a high dosage of xanax, anyone have any help they can provide?

Better get off the Xanax. You will get hooked. Have you seen what happens to people who get addicted to Xanax ? 馃槓

@smallsville45 how long have you been taking Xanax ?

@MURD3RM0NK3Y 10 years or more. I feel like they calm me down, they take the care away, so I feel like it somehow helps with my anger and outrages.

@smallsville45 That's a long time. It's not a permanent fix though. You can't take Xanax forever.

Get to root of the anger. I like to remember one of my fave authors quotes..'Nothing is personal' She's AWESOME. GET any of her books ...her name's Byron Katie. She said when we are mad or sad or anything over another's mood, actions etc...it is THEIR business to take care of and generally about themselves, not us.

People here won't be able to help, you have to see a doctor about it. Xanax could potentially be making it worse by disinhibiting you, it works a bit like alcohol that way.

Puppies! Lots and lots of puppies. Try volunteering at an animal shelter a few days a week.
Mood stabilizers and antipsychotics are also used for anger.
@smallsville45 Well can't really say which one could work best since I don't have anger issues. But I'd try the mood stabilizers first. Especially the ones that are good for mania. As mania can have an aggression component. Talk to your doc/therapist and see which one is best for agression/irritability.
