In what case does the definition of "bad" become subjective?

It's always subjective.

All definitions of anything is subjective.
That's a pretty unique question. The problem is it's easy to point to paradigmatic cases of "bad" being subjective (as in when someone says "that's bad" of a dish they personally dislike the flavor of) and cases of it being objective (as in when someone says "that's bad" of a wrench that fails to do anything). But the middle ground is always an area for judgment. No one can give you all the answers there, let alone easy ones.

@IvanKaramazov I realise after I posted that it was a pretty silly question with no real answer. I can however tell you that your answer is not bad 😂
Everyone wishes someone could give them all the directions they need in life from time to time. No one ever gets them, alas.
Everything's subjective.. yet everyone seems to think they are the authority.. weird 🤘😎
Oh. Ahem. I am a good girl. I wouldn't know. Care to have that spot next to me under the blanket now? 😏
