Sometimes I feel like I have to be removed for the betterment of humanity.

At the expense of my family having to mourn and miss me. I'm so scared though...I wish I could just accept my fate without being so fearful.

In the end we all have to go sometime. I can't do it to myself though because that's wrong its self harm someone else must have to do it to me.

I would miss my family as I'm sure they would miss me but our time here and our families are not forever.

That's irrational, dude. Nobody knows the future. You can't possibly know when your time is up.

All we can control is what we choose to do with the time we do have. Sure, we can mope and feel sorry for ourselves, but that's not much of a life. Personally, I choose to be kind, to help others where I can, to enjoy fresh air, to eat good food, and to get lost in movies and books. Makes my life feel worthwhile.

You just gotta find what works for you. What kind of life would you want to live if death wasn't an option?

@cyberdude28 Sometimes medication works, sometimes it doesn't. It's a tricky balance. My girlfriend's tried different meds and different dosages to manage her anxiety, but she apparently feels good enough now that she doesn't need to see her therapist anymore.

Granted, those pills aren't miracle workers. It usually needs to be balanced out with healthy habits to function properly

@cyberdude28 I know a guy who got stinking drunk and fell in front of the rear wheel of a 5 ton truck as it was pulling away. He got wrapped around the wheel and died. I would not wish that on anyone.
A sunny day, on a cliff, the wind in your face, the smell of the ocean, a dog beside you. You are fed, clean clothes, someone loves you, someone misses you, you have a favourite toy waiting when you get home (motorcycle, guitar, tennis racket, something else). Life is amazing if you seek out those moments. Look for blue skies and peace.
