I don't think I would want to try that type of therapy at all. I prefer talk or group. If you don't find it helpful I would definitely look for some thing else that you feel comfortable with doing
That's a problem with role playing. Unless you can truly trust the other person, and I mean truly trust the other person there will always be that small part ready to run.

@onrealityofdreams thats kjndnkf the poinot of it. To build strength for when in a real situation. It's not supposed to be comfortable
@MethDozer That's true. It is her point. I merely put a rewording to it to show understanding.

I can’t risk doing that as I would probably attack. Its fine if you can’t deal with it, everyone has their weaknesses.

Find a therapist that does not put you on the defensive
I hate roleplay in any context. Absolutely hate it. I'm not an actor, I don't play roles. It's such cringe 😬

WTF? That was her fault and she wants you to pay for twice the amount of sessions next week? Sounds like she is just trying to get more money out of you!

Girl, she won't throw hands.
I am so very sorry :( Time to find a new therapist, I never understood role play in therapy
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@NativePortlander1970 it was something new she said we won’t do that again
@MommaBear I wouldn't trust her to not do it again.
