You're such a negative nancy! The womens soccer world cup and Australia getting to the semi's is a game-changer in the recognition of women's sport being just as 'real' and 'legit' as mens sport.

There's no doubt there's been an awful lot of hype both before and during this tournament. Perhaps almost to the point of overkill and over saturation of media time and column inches.
But I have to say it's been fantastic to watch !
Yes all the favourites have been close to the business end of it but there's been some truly outstanding performances from countries that you had no idea actually played football let alone were good enough to to influence a world cup !
