I've been called a catfish on here lol. Also having female coworkers can sometimes get awkward (on their end)

@xRedx so what they are claiming is that your selfies are not really you? I think of catfish as men claiming they are women.
xRedx · M
@samueltyler2 yeah, that I'm using someone elses pics. I think catfish refers to the action of pretending to be someone else
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@xRedx perhaps, i never thought of it that way. With my stated age and sex, no one questions that! Lol.

good looking people can always "dress down" as it were.
Not like ugly people who can try to present well but it just doesn't work.

Higher probabilities of certain things. Such as stalking. People behaving coldly or aggressive towards them due to jealousy. Dealing with Insincerity from people who only like them for their beauty.
Everyone has problems. We can categorize certain problems based on the “symptom” in this case beauty has its drawbacks as well as its advantages. However depending upon the individual’s personality, they may find more disadvantages than positives from their attractiveness. While other personalities may be fine in exploiting the advantages that come with “pretty privilege” such as becoming an influencer etc…

Not having to pay cover charge for nightclubs and random men offering to buy your food and drinks. There’s no problem.
I sometimes struggle prioritising myself.
mindstruggle · 31-35, F
Not my department. I work in the nice personality division. 🙂
BlueVeins · 22-25
@mindstruggle not mutually exclusive

Nothing. Not everyone is the same.
Putting people into categories is oh so wrong.
Define attractive to a culture that regularly does body piercings with objects inserted! Or a culture where most are obese. Or whatever! Rainbow colored hair? 🤷🏻♂

Not really knowing what they have earned on merit rather than being pandered to for their looks. This counts for both relationships and employment.

Being constantly praised for being so “attractive”
AbbeyRhode · F
Only being wanted for their looks, and not seen as a person, with thoughts and feelings.

Having too many spammers and catfish in their inbox and trying to dial their phone
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Knowing if someone really likes them for who they are, or if they just wanna fk. Also, attractive people get abducted more often.
Punches · 46-50, F
@DearAmbellina2113 That is one overlooked disadvantage when someone has something that everyone wants. If they don't guard something with their life, someone gonna try to take it.

Narcissism...
greensnacks · F
@eyeno narcissism has very little with appearances and very much with character and upbringing
Punches · 46-50, F
@greensnacks While that is technically true, what is often the case is that the more attractive someone is, the more in love with themselves they are.
bijouxbroussard · F
