Nothing really.
I think it depends on what you mean by proof. Science shows how things work, but faith’s more about why. You can’t measure God with science, but honestly, the way everything fits together feels like His work to me.
If you consider everything in this universe instead of only the beautiful things, a more important question is: what kind of God would create this?
There's not only colorful and nice smelling flowers, but also parasites. Not only puppies but also vicious predators. Not only amazing mountains but also earthquakes and tsunamis. It's definitely the result of something extremely powerful, but I struggle to see intelligence and benevolence behind the complete picture.

If you cannot see with your eyes this complex creation all around us and admit that we never have seen nor experienced anything being created from absolutely nothing then you'll not entertain the idea of God,your faith will either be in man, the spiritual, or in unproven scientefic theories and that will replace the idea of (a) God.
I really don't want to argue about this,as it is my own thoughts and I am not against science.
The gist of everything is you'll either believe in God or you won't.
The absence of belief in something doesn't mean it doesn't exist and that's why there is this war against creation and evolution, because we cannot really, in a lab, provide scientific proof of either.
We can prove what is already here and how it functions, but not how it got here.

When I look into the sky at night, I see what I believe to be an intelligent universe. That just maybe, never had a beginning but has always been. Other than that, I think gods are invented by humans that are scared of death or can't imagine never existing again after death. Bibles are written in order to control and frighten the masses into doing as they are told, or they will go to a fiery hell. But maybe just maybe, we do have a soul, and we are all universal travelers. That after death we remember every part of the universe we have visited and every life we have lived, that would be cool. Who knows for certain. But if it is the god of The Holy Bible, he is a very cruel god, and I don't want any part of him. We have no proof of anything.

No proof is needed. We feel and see His artistry in His ecosystems...in His complex interlocking systems of life...and in the magnificent beauty and savagery all around us.
Everything... It's all there for us to see...
If you think about it, it's actually the ONLY logical explanation.
Humans have tremendous difficulty in accepting this as it's too simple to say, to difficult to comprehend and impossible to scientifically verify.

@AbsolutelyFabulous The only logical explanation is science and reality.

Nothing can be proven about God. Christianity relies wholly on faith. Faith is defined as "belief without evidence." Faith is the foundation of Abrahamic religion. If you have "proof" of God, then you have no need of faith and your entire theological house of cards comes tumbling down.

@gregloa Actually a close examination of a living cell is proof of a designer. It is written in our genes.

Create many religions each of which thinks theirs is superior to the point that war is a viable solution…
