I think I have encountered one perhaps once as I described in thewildecho’s post about angels. But…whether I have or not, they are here among us and whether we see them or not. The spirit world is very much among us. Good and bad…. Meaning angels and demons …
The Bible teaches us that we may interact with them unaware.

The major tenet of evangelicalism is the belief in being “born again” or conversion. Since the beginning of the movement, pastors and teachers have taught that Christians must repent and convert. I believe I ran into an angel one day. I can't prove it but this elderly man, who could barely walk, one day asked me to help him with something at the store. Normally, I don't like dealing with people but I decided to be nice. Shortly thereafter, he was no where in sight. It's like he vanished into thin air. The guy could barely walk so I have no idea how he managed to move so fast and it puzzles me because there was only one exit in that store and I know for a fact he didn't use it.
There are people in this world who we see but they're not actually people. Some are good angels, some are bad.

@Justice4All Mine was gone lickety split too! I had a flat tire out in the country.. and a man came riding up on a bicycle out of no where. Put my spare on and he was gone back out of nowhere.

No because their no evidence to support the existence of angels. However i do find this thread interesting because it is interesting to see people/s emotional attachment to angels in lew of tangable evidence.
It is a different way for you to ask them how they feel about a topic that is likely delicate to many if not most of them. That topic being whatever they attach to their belief in angels, and or their need for angels to be real.

An angel is a bodiless, immortal spirit, limited in knowledge and power. A god created angels to worship Him. Not all of the god's angels acted angelically, however. Some angels, led by Satan, rebelled against a life of submission, and were cast out of Heaven. These bad angels were sent to Hell and are known as devils.
Not all angels are created equal. From top to bottom, the celestial hierarchy includes seraphim, cherubim, thrones; dominions, virtues, powers; principalities, archangels, and angels. Angels have different functions. Some do nothing but worship their Lord. Others are sent to deliver messages to creatures on earth. Some are sent as protectors of earthlings. Still others are sent to do battle with devils, who are viewed as initiators of evil temptations.
Even though angels are spirits and devoid of a physical nature, believers in angels have had no problem depicting and describing them. Angels, say their advocates, are invisible but can take the form of visible things. Angels are usually depicted with wings and looking like human adults or children. The wings are undoubtedly related to their work as messengers from a god, who lives in the sky. The anthropomorphizing is understandable. Depiction enhances belief. But a bodiless creature cannot be depicted. A depiction of a creature of less than human stature would be undignified and unworthy of celestial creatures. Nevertheless, it is puzzling how a bodiless creature thinks and feels. To talk of a spirit as a non-bodily creature seems to be akin to talking of a "round square." Trying to imagine thinking or feeling occurring independently of a body is like trying to imagine the spherical shape of a ball occurring independently of the ball.

Yes! I can hear them from time to time, a choir of them, singing Holy Holy Holy, Hallelujah, and Glory Glory Glory...I believe them to be Seraphim Angels which are closest to God! It's faint, I have to quiet my soul to listen, but it's real and it's pretty! I am blessed, I am seated in Heavenly places!

@Diotrephes Yes they doooooo! In Isaiah the Seraphim sing Holy Holy Holy and in the book of Revalation! I hear them sing that and Hallelujah and Ahhh ahhhh ahhhh and sometimes there is a message in the song like I am loved. I can literally hear them sing those things! I am not making this up! I am being honest.

@Lilliesandlight It's been four months now that I am alone. That never used to bother me, being alone, but now for the first time in my life I'm loney. She's gone. This is the worst that I've ever felt. I think it's gonna be awhile til I feel kinda normal. Whatever my new normal is.

I often can hear Angels singing, no word of a lie....Every time I go to the hospital some people are miraculously healed and it is accredited to me that I am a saint. Though I know that it was not me but the Lord Himself that does the healings! But not all are healed some are and some are not.

@NoGamesTolerated My Mother in her late-eighties. She is a very unassuming and quiet lady. She was making a connection through Atlanta but there were a lot of delays due to bad weather. She was very anxious as the flight was extremely rough. Her thinking since getting into her late 80’s would become very disjointed when she became frightened or overwhelmed with uncertainty so her she was not able to think herself logically through the situation. When the passengers were dis embarking to leave she was completely at a lose on what she needed to do. Just then a man came to her seat, smiled at her and asked her if she had any carry on bags. He got her few bags and escorted her off the plane. He guided her to a wheel chair and wheel her through the Atlanta terminals straight to her connecting flight that was just boarding. He helped her to her seat and once she got settled in she looked up to thank the man but he was no there. She was thanking my sister in Toronto on her arrival for calling the airline and making the arrangements. My sister had no idea what she was talking about but once explained she told my Mother that I must have called. My Mother called to thank me but I could not take credit for it either. I wish I had. My mother believes the man was an angel. He did not have a uniform on and did speak to anyone else but her the entire time. I believe if God would send an angel to help anyone it would be my Mother but of course I am biased….😏

@TheWildEcho Thanks. And no. I don't believe the earth is flat. But people do. They really do. And they go to great lengths to "prove" it. But they fail. Because it's not true.

I reckon there are angels whether they come in physical form or spiritual form I reckon we are protected by them like for instance there’s been times where I’m tripped but never fell to

According to the Bible, the God character beats the crap out of the ones he loves. So, if you are being spared pain and misery chances are he doesn't love you.

@Lilliesandlight There are lots of evil angels in the biblical fairytale but I doubt if you can find one who did anything really good for anyone.

@Diotrephes Reminds me of something my wife said yesterday. She says the Jinn are stealing our silverware. My wife likes it warm in the house but one day I turned on the AC when she was not looking. I told her I didn't do it. She said the Jinn did it. Once she even accused me of having a jinn inside me because I like cold weather.
