Churches should be taxed. Especially those mega churches.
@Crazywaterspring So many Christians claim "God hates fags" so much for tolerance, Agape love and empathy. While I'm an atheist, my best friend is a Cristian and does truly have Agape love. She also has the same moral ethics as I have.
@Crazywaterspring In Australia they already are taxing Jehovah's Witnesses because of child abuse. Other countries should follow suit.
@bijouxbroussard That does exist here. Canada might have better separation of State and religion; secularism than the US has going on? I really don't know. Upon politics in Canada, there is of course social conservatives, often religious, who want to make their mark on politics but they seem to have influence on only one party in Canada's political system.

I strongly believe that those who still support Donald Trump are either white supremacists themselves or are at least accepting of it.
And I believe that those who are anti-choice don’t value the lives of women and girls. I reject the twisted analogy regarding choice between abortion and vaccinations. No one risks being infected by proximity to a pregnant woman.
@bijouxbroussard True. My own little brother died from AIDS. As did a number of other friends. I'm Grateful many of us survived. Since I've always been a "top" I was never at risk.
@Grateful4you My condolences, my friend. Of the 12 members of the commune I was a part of in 1980, there remains one friend and yours truly. Besides the only other woman there who died in a car accident and one man who died from cancer in 1997, the others were all lost to AIDS and related illnesses. 😞
@bijouxbroussard I believe (Not some "heaven") there is a next plane of existence. Danny is in a good place now.

Incest isn't inherently immoral. Culture isn't inherently worthy of respect. Public nudity laws violate the individual right to free expression. The rise of China has been an incredibly good thing for the world on balance. The foundation of Israel was a huge mistake, but it's too late to go back now. The Bodo League Massacre is at least partially justified. Prisoners should never be executed except at their own behest. College shouldn't be free. US sanctions on socialist countries have nothing to do with human rights; they're about preventing an economic system other than capitalism from proving itself on the world stage. Price gouging is good.

@BlueVeins infanticide is killing a baby .. abandonment is not .. what's wrong with you ? If the child dies, then parent maybe charged with culpable infanticide, provided if traced. Many babies are abandoned near a church or orphanage or garbage bin, since they would be attended to soon.
I feel like I've been pretty clear in establishing the problem,
That's where the problem is. We are talking about child born with defects, irrespective of whether it's in or out bred, and whether parents are married officially or not.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@in10RjFox If you're deliberately taking action that may lead to the death of a baby outside of absolute necessity, then yeah you're killing the baby. Babies are completely reliant on their parents for survival. At the very least, it's extremely negligent.
That's where the problem is. We are talking about child born with defects, irrespective of whether it's in or out bred, and whether parents are married officially or not.
I didn't say jack shit about marriage and IDK how that's relevant. What I'm saying is that inbreeding creates a higher risk of birth defects, much like drinking while pregnant.
in10RjFox · M
@BlueVeins that we established long ago... we moved on to child born with defects .. Anyway, I think we are on the same page. Let's Close it here.

Parents should have a license.

Abortions are justifiable in most cases and in the best interest of the woman and society.

Religions and all things related to it are poorly made human constructs to give hope but in my opinion as we and all matter are just condensed energy we might just be a dream of "God" where anything is possible. I have no idea what happens when we die but I'm ok if it all just stops. Heaven or hell is the world we live in now. Your choice.

Humans are contributors to climate change but are unwilling to change their ways or reduce their footprint on the planet so the species is in an existential crisis that will lead to a collapse of society until the population reduces to a level that the planet can support. Unfortunately, the vast majority of humans are unable to live in the current natural environment.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Tastyfrzz How would you enforce a license to parent though?
I don't believe homosexuality is normal
Myocite · F
@BlueVeins my 23 year old son figured that out early too. I don't know why it took me so long.
@BlueVeins usual, typical, why are we doing this there's no need for any abstract argument. Would you consider a two-headed cow normal? If you went outside tomorrow and the Sun appeared to be turquoise would that be normal? The fact that I am not allowed to State my opinion without being ridiculed or criticized is not normal there is no need for anyone to be defensive when I haven't attacked anyone.
@Myocite the fact that you are unable to have a logical conversation most definitely does not make you any smarter than anyone else.
SunshineBlues · 22-25, F
The right to die should be legal .
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Prostitution is no worse than picking someone up at a bar or club for a hookup. The "right" or "wrong" of either activity is dependent only on how many others are adversely affected by the decision.

Religion is a farce. If your parents were religious they brainwashed you into believing in something that doesn't exist. There's no God who gives a rats a** about any of us. None of us is any more special than the other person. Religion was created to control people. Our being here is strictly chance.
Myocite · F
@thewindupbirdchronicles no idea what you mean. Sorry
@Myocite I'm not going to be able to express it any other way. No apology needed.
@Myocite As an atheist, I do believe in a higher plane of existence. Life is an on-going process of learning.
in10RjFox · M
Not belief but truth. I discovered that Gender is man-made and we are not opposite sexes as believed.. but two models of the same sex. So gender is a myth infused into humanity and make-belief to divide and rule us.
in10RjFox · M
@Myocite that you must have been upfront about it. You could have first shown some respect for the argument by some gesture by saying .. I don't know and never thought about it ..

When you ask without saying anything about what is your viewpoint or your take, you signify that you are here to just criticise people.

Your question Do tell came with a lot of attitude.
in10RjFox · M
@Babylon Amidst the terms available, boy girl is the most suitable, as the rest all signify girls as subset of male.
in10RjFox · M
@Myocite
probably based on what was typically seen over time.
So we never know and have never bothered to know .. so am I wrong in saying gender was a notional concept infused into humanity ?
We are under global tyranny. Look what’s happening in Melbourne

The introduction of women being allowed to vote dramatically changed American history and economics.

Prior to women being allowed to vote. Men handled the economics of the country in a more or less business fashion.

The addition of the female mindset, aka a more nurturing sense of care mindedness if you will allowed FDR's Me deal to take shape and take it's place in the US government, social security, welfare, snap, all these benefits as he more here from th is plan. American was going to care for these citizens that needed additional help.

We have seen many of these and different programs abused. Many of these programs went from being temporary help to a more permanent subsidy.

My theory of the casting mentality off m most women were drawn to these ideas and they voted that way.

Our current debt problems are a result of those programs out growing their initial purpose and their initial targeted group of citizens. This requiring more and more revenue from the government's budget.

Let me say this, I am NOT against women voting. I am only pissing my theory of how this changed our government financially.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
@Babylon there is a large part of the US's current budget is dedicated to many of these types of programs and the additional programs initiated afterwards. Snap, wic, unemployment, social security, disability etc. Many of these are fraught with abuse and scams to access the government funds.

My theory is without the maternal instinct of women in general the initial programs may have never been brought to a vote. FDR may have never been elected once let alone 4 times over.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
@Myocite absolutely true evolution is inevitable. But the influence of the female electorate probably accelerated the process.
Myocite · F
@biandlargeny Yes, thank goodness we aren't as barbaric.

Witchcraft should be illegal. Using forces beyond your comprehension in order to manipulate matter is not anyone’s place to manipulate other than natural order.
A few, Pro-choice, Antifa, BLM, Pro- vaxxer,Pro- masker, and many others. I'm sure I'm blocked by many here.
I guess this counts if I follow a poll on my local paper.

When asked, should lottery winnings be taxed? I had to answer yes.. We tax those working hard for a living while making little, why should those lucky enough to win $10 million dollars not to have pay on that winning?

I was in the definite minority there (8%) while the remaining 92% voted no.
Yes... all drugs should be legalized as when you place that money that is spent on police you can direct into healthcare and support instead. That for whatever reason seems controversial. That and the state doesn't belong in the bedroom, yet in Canada sex work still is in fact criminalized, when if that statement from a former PM was really followed it wouldn't be criminal.

I believe Eternal life in Gods perfect existence is secured by believing Jesus and trusting 100% in the Atonement He secured by His death on the cross, that pays the penalty for my transgressions against Gods will..

Not many people in this world believe that..
I believe that pineapple does belong on pizza.
@thewindupbirdchronicles Hmmm 🤔 I'll get back to you on that one.
@Mindfulness You are not about to devour a pineapple hoping insight will be carried through your digestive tract?
@thewindupbirdchronicles I'm that predictable? 🍍😋💩

Disagreeing with the LGBTQI does not make you a "phobe"
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User Back in the 80's and probably before, people thought it was entertaining to "out" LGBT. Eventually the community started coming out in greater numbers and being proud. They figured they would eventually be out'ed anyways.

So now the people who do not like LGBT are not happy about it but that is tough. If people had left well enough alone, there would not be as much Pride stuff.
SW-User
@CestManan I truly don't care.
@CestManan People in Toronto now love Pride. They forget why some of that community doesn't want police involvement, as in the 70s and 80s, the police would raid apartments just to catch gays.
