Religion is a farce. If your parents were religious they brainwashed you into believing in something that doesn't exist. There's no God who gives a rats a** about any of us. None of us is any more special than the other person. Religion was created to control people. Our being here is strictly chance.

@Myocite I agree with you there. You do see my words don't support an idea of a god, right? I have just learned some people need this explanation, others need something else, and in the best way, I can, I stay neutral.

@thewindupbirdchronicles oh I need it. I need to believe to relieve my anxiety about dieing one day, but I'm not going to pretend in something that doesn't exist.

@Myocite There may be better ways in dealing with that anxiety? And one of the reasons I'm very open about religion, while not religious, is from when my father died I understood the value it could give some.

@Myocite Solace for those living through grief, providing an answer - for many that is worth more than a book can in volumes beyond words. Those already passed, I only see them existing in how they impressed someone else in their life.
