@Rob04 I faced this not just by Indian men, even by western men (online). Only difference is western men seem more ok with the freedom i have.... than Indian men... still they too tried to dominate me and put me down.

Unless in super rich areas, it's really bad for women here. I don't have basic freedoms due to many bad men around who get away with harassing women without consequences and also society and culture.

Yes, i am not allowed to smoke, drink or have sexual desires or any sexuality at all. ( I think it's good to not drink, smoke, do drugs, etc).. But I think women's sexuality should be respected as long as is not addicted to it or cheating.

I think the problem is many Indian men are insecure and jealous of women's potential.

Problems personally i face are here are lot due to sexism, misogyny, toxic mascilinity, lack of safety, lack of trust in men, lack of some basic freedoms ( such as dating short-term, divorcing without being blamed by society for divorce just bcuz i am women, expressing my sexuality, dressing what i want without being judged or shamed (men harass both full dressed and short dressed girls/women, no idea why still society judges clothes), etc

Idk about cheating... heard of some girls leaving their bf becuase found someone more good looking or rich. Sexual cheating seem less by women.... maybe they hide it... I heard romantically and sexually suppressed women cheat more than modern liberal independent women. Men who suppress women don't seem to show any interest, respect , love or interest towards needs or desires of their wife. Women get killed in some such cases.

My both parents are educated... so i get small freedoms such as i can do love marriage if i want. I can be unmarried if i have a job.

@666Maggotz I think bad men look for victims more and they are more in center of attention that's why it's easy to come across them more. 1 bad man can cat call 50 women per year, can grope 20women, rape 3. Imagine if the bad ones are 20% if only one can do so much destruction) . The problem is our society takes side of powerful one ( be it man or woman), bad men tend to get away a lot due to their status, men generally are independent and in power than women. There are bad women too who used men for money or cheating bcuz found someone better.. .

Where i live 40% men easily engage in cat calling from my personal observation. SOme do it to every girl and some do it to girls who have slut rumors on them ( which is very misogynistic, could be due to cultual issues too). Other men seem silent to not get into fights or they blame the girl because they are cowards or ignorant due to cultural beliefs.

I think genuinely good ones are only 10-20%. Most men are misogynistic ( some more and some less), some seem misogynistic unintentionally ( could be due to culture), many have entitlement just because they are men and see women are objects or servents or below them. COuld be different in other countries.

@sahi81 I disagree with you. It matters not to me anymore either. I stated my opinions and life actions that I have taken to avoid the terrible type women I have dated and once married/divorced they all were only after money, and all of them cheated on me and left me for seven figure incomed men.
