What generation are you?

Black & white television where common when I was a kid and so was black & white film.

Nobody had computers or cellphones

As kids we were told to fight the bully and not run from them

We were left to learn for ourselves

@lost213 We didn't go to a lot of movie theaters. When we did, it was a special occasion, but mostly, we got free VHS tapes because my aunt and uncle owned a video store.

@LordShadowfire the first VHS I ever watched was Raiders of the Lost Arc. And the video and player were both rented from the local video/ hardware store…😂

@lost213 Oh, my God. The video store in Oregon City got so much business from us. I rented Spaceballs so many times my parents eventually just bought it for me. And all the cheesy horror movies my dad let me rent.

@SisterShadow Haha yeah I was on about this to someone a few weeks back, I'm Gen X it just sounds like a scientific experiment gone wrong or something...

Like I was born in a labatory and I can't have any real friends because every time I sneeze it will bend space time and I'll accidentally turn them inside out or something, LOLZ!😆

I think a lot of these “generational” labels? Separate us divide us and encourage people not to associate with others not exactly like them. I reject such labels and replace that with the character of the people I meet

Gen X, but on the tail end. I think it of it as mostly a lot of stories that say we can have many things in common from we were born in a certain time. I think some overthink it
