Is Similar Worlds your 'second life'?

Second life ? .. Perhaps to an extent. TBH I've been a bit out of sorts of late, but generally I'm here for some comic relief and connection missing in my day-day. I have a small circle of friends here, as in my in-person life. My family relationships are strong and the core focus of my life.

I think it used to be that for me. Spent quite a bit of time here and the connections felt real enough to create a whole new world of sorts…sometimes a better one. But I’ve very much drifted from that way of thinking and focus the majority of my time and energy on what’s tangible and in front of me, especially when I started to gain more light from the real world over the one I created here for myself.

My way to fill a temporary void until I make friends here. Georgia is friendly but they don’t want to be your friend!!
Anyone else experience that moving to GA?

It's like a bar I come and see my friends, talk about my day and close the door behind me when leaving...

It’s my escape from life. Connection without commitment is just what I need right now.

To me, it's an extension of my non-digital life, albeit one that I don't share with those who inhabit the latter.

I don't really tell anyone in real life about my experience here because I openly talk about things that would be too shocking to them. People expect a lot of me.

Now you say it, a few I have seen here would be more at home there.😷

Nah, I got too much going on to be here full-time. I just drop by from time to time to satisfy a basic level of social interaction before getting back to my obligations. Or to play a few games
