Is there a SWeep that you would normally block, but, you dont, because you enjoy verbally sparring with them on occasion ???

Yes. I don't want to get into the habit of blocking people just because they have different views than I do. I don't want to live in an echo chamber.

@JimboSaturn Good point. I do block, but only after they have blocked me first. I'm not seeing their posts anyway.

I honestly try not to block people unless it's absolutely necessary. If they're unnecessarily rude on more than one occasion, *block*. If they seem to be specifically targeting MY posts to antagonize me on more than 2 occasions, *block*.

I don't really verbally spar, that's not my style. I just avoid the conflict altogether.

@hunkalove it's usually around $200 in summer. We have an energy-efficient unit which helps a LOT.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@DearAmbellina2113 Wow. My bill is usually around $25. A little more in the summer.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@hunkalove $200 is cheap in AZ lol. Our bill at the last house we lived in (a huge 3 bedroom) was around $400 every summer.

With my CPTSD I have to protect my peace so I will not keep anyone around only to provoke me. It's risky.
Renaci · 36-40
@Queendragonfly Same. My social anxiety has gotten worse with time. The only reason I'll fight with people is just for confrontation practice. Lol
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Oh my yes, many.

What happens is it goes on for awhile, then somebody crosses a line or gets frustrated and then we block each other....
I don't normally block people. If I find someone spreading falsehoods, I try to counter with the truth.
@ElwoodBlues Yeah, me too.

Have never blocked anyone, I don’t
Take them that seriously,

There’s a guy here that is so tedious when it comes to politics, covid and current events. But when he’s off those topics he is genuinely funny. Then he gets bored and goes back to the tin foil hat content. It’s a pickle for sure.

@WintaTheAngle most people id say

Lilymoon · F
No if they annoy me they get blocked 😛
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
Not really. I don't communicate enough here anymore for that to happen lol.
I stopped blocking long ago, and I don't think I ever did it more then once or twice. Muting is another story
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Definitely not.
Yes, there are a couple of people on the "other side" that I’ve come to like. So even though we may disagree on some key points, they’re not nasty about it, so it’s not serious. 🙂

I stay away from the block feature.
Monday2 · 51-55, F
There were a few rightwing nutjobs but they all blocked me. If you can't articulate your opinion block, right?
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
Oh for the love of life, block!
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Nah, there are people who annoy me with their brainwashed antics or abominable personality traits but that's not a good enough reason to block them.
trollslayer.. that guy kills me 🥰
BabyLonia · F
Yes 🤣🤐
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I actually don't block anybody unless they get too persistent and monotonous. How else am I going to know what I believe in, if I don't have to explain it to people who disagree?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I havent blocked ducky because she barely says anything to me anymore, but she absolutely hates me 🤣 and i have no idea why ☠️ other than that, i dont keep toxic people in my life anymore
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
It takes a lot for me to block.

I like watching people lose it, it’s free entertainment.
