I’ll share something if it can help someone learn from a situation. I’ve been though a lot (mostly craptastic) but I’ve never regretted anything! And I tell people that most because if they are regretting something, most often they don’t want to ever think of it or look back onto it and see what they can learn from that particular thing. Yes it can be hard, horrible, bad, sad, cause tears, anger, anxiety, etc. but once you are able to fully process it (and it can take years sometimes, others a few minutes) you become better in many ways that you didn’t realize you could become. You grow in mental fortitude, emotional fortitude, sometimes physically are better as well.

But if there is something that can actually be related to and help someone be better and make their day better, I try. Being nice and sharing kindness is something that’s insanely rare these days.

I’ve shared some very personal things here but for the most part, I keep it light. Not so much because I’m keeping secrets, it’s just better for my state of mind.

I say what I say......my face in that lil box. When I post things about myself... usually the ones I struggle with. I speak them....take away their power over me.

I probably share to much, but I am careful. I don't use names or photos on here

I'm not very talkative, but I wouldn't say I'm secretive. If anyone wants to know anything about me I'm happy to tell. I just don't offer much information without being prompted.

I share about mine, and I do not see the need to be secretive or a to make up lies. Heck look at my profile picture and you already see my greatest secret posted as well as in my about me section.

I feel pretty comfortable on here and like getting advice so I am much more open than I am offline.

I've learned to be discrete about the things I share. Through their unfounded and fear-based beliefs, people so readily take out of context what they read about someone. Their resulting comments can trigger similar reactions in others, prompting rumors and the spread of misinformation.

It's important to be careful about what you share about yourself in such a scared, reactive, litigious society. So many people are looking for their next fear fix.

Sure. I’ll share parts of my life sometimes. I talk about my job occasionally.

I can be both. There are some things that i choose to not talk about so i won't respond to it.

Sometimes I get the urge to share, but more often than not I suppress it.
