I'm not sure.. weird. I have been seeing really positive Mems and affirmation posts that I am glad I have stumbled on, more recently than before. I used to typically only log into FB like once a week but now I log in everyday b/c of all the positive memes I've seen :)
@Coralmist I do get those, stuff about topics I like , like nutrition, philosophy, psychology, travelling but mixed in with random stuff, like my youtube page, which is fine, some suff it knows I like and some stuff its just proposing. but I get that already from youtube, on facebook I want to see stuff from people I know and I know so many people it would be quite enough to keep me busy but instead of content from friends I mostly get youtube-like content.
Yep, maybe 1 in 20 posts is from people I know or groups I follow, if I'm lucky. The rest is all promoted or suggested. That's why I never use it anymore.
Yes, I have definitely noticed that. Very disappointing. And every fourth post is an ad. Another thing I've observed: "My Stories" used to consistently get 25-35 views; now they get a handful. In fact, my last post there got 13 views - 12 of them from Instagram. ???
@reflectingmonkey I understand, but FEWER applies to a plural subject like posts or horses or trees, so that’s why it is correct in this instance, while LESS applies to a singular subject like rain or snow or sugar.
@KingofBones1 I used to love it, it kept me in contact with long time aquaintances and showing me what they are up to. I even became friends again with my first crush because she posted about a charity fund raiser she does every year and now we do it together. but now its about 99% low quality news about celebrities or random influencers I don't want to see. I wish I could change that and get more posts from friends.
