on facebook, why am I seeing less and less posts from people I know and more crap I didn't ask for ?

anyone else notice this? is there a way to change this? I want to see stuff from the people I know

I'm not sure.. weird. I have been seeing really positive Mems and affirmation posts that I am glad I have stumbled on, more recently than before. I used to typically only log into FB like once a week but now I log in everyday b/c of all the positive memes I've seen :)

@Coralmist I do get those, stuff about topics I like , like nutrition, philosophy, psychology, travelling but mixed in with random stuff, like my youtube page, which is fine, some suff it knows I like and some stuff its just proposing. but I get that already from youtube, on facebook I want to see stuff from people I know and I know so many people it would be quite enough to keep me busy but instead of content from friends I mostly get youtube-like content.
