When's the last time you were wild, unassuming, spontaneous etc?

I’m unassuming and spontaneous all the time because my brain is oddly wired to be.

But the last time I really embraced all three was when I decided to celebrate my birthday, a rarity. I took a solo trip to a local lighthouse resort and spent the night there and enjoyed the hot tub.

It felt really out of the box for me because I was still recovering from a mastic panic attack that left me unable to function properly for weeks.

Risky I do every day. I teach Drivers Ed, so almost every day I take high school students out in the car and teach them to drive...(you know, how to run over small children and animals...lol...just kidding.)
My boss has told me,(actually ordered me) NOT to take my kids driving on Parkways or major Highways. I have told her that I disagree. I have told her that a person can pass the road test and still not know how to drive, therefore I WILL take them on Parkways and Highways. I believe that knowing how to drive on Parkways and Highways is of utmost importance to drive on Long Island. She disagrees.
So, until I get caught, I will continue to teach these kids my way, on parkways and highways.

Lol. I seldom get the chance to be spontaneous .. and I honestly have no idea how carefree is even possible. That said, I don't notice the burden of responsibilities much otherwise. It is as much a part of life as breathing.

My sons launched successfully and are managing their own lives now. In my return to life alone just beyond the divorce on the horizon, my choices will be less bound by responsibility than I've known in over 35 years.

Kinda looking forward to finding out how that feels again.

Singing loudly without shame in traffic is always freeing, especially at a red light. The range of looks I get make me smile. Sometimes, others may even join you...lol
I just think "Judge me if you like but I'm having fun either way"

Spontaneity is practically a way of life for me.

Among my close-knit group of friends, I've garnered a reputation for being the "life of the party."

On the surface, I may appear as this aloof, stoic, mild-mannered, unassuming, reticent, average guy next-door, but deep down, I'm a bold,witty and adventuresome party animal.

And they say it's the quiet ones who have the least amount of fun, when in truth it's the quiet ones who really know how to party.

Date nights with my husband, especially when we are out of town and staying in a hotel. Dinner, dancing, and a room that might need a few extra maids to get it back to respectability again. 😌

Probably in July when I went to visit my best friend in New York. We always have such a good time together doing everything and nothing all at the same time.

It’s been a while. Probably when the wife and I splurged on first class upgrades when we went to the Caribbean.

I’m kind of bland myself tbh

I hear you. Sometimes I feel like some excitment!

It rained heavily recently, so i stripped and went outside and had a lovely shower. Afterwards my hair and skin felt so fresh and soft.

I think the closest thing is when I visited my brother and went out to the bars with him and his kids.

Probably about 7 years ago. I took a bus trip across the country from the Midwest to the west coast. Took two and a half days with all of the stops.

Probably when I was 12 years old and used to compulsively swim whenever I saw water, irrespective of whether I had my swimming things or not.

I've been quite boring since 😩

I got lost in the mountains two hours ago.

absolutely!! let it go, let go of tension, social norms, expectations, performance, rules--have some fun and wildness!!

Boy, I don't think I've ever been any of those.
