Can you remember...

.... when time didn’t cost anything.

Mornings stretched like forever, afternoons smelled like sun and dirt, and the only thing SWe chased was light before it disappeared behind the trees.

No clock owned us.

No small talk drained us.

No quiet resentment traded for a paycheck in order to afford quilted shit paper and a box ah' drier sheets.

Damn...

Back then, life wasn’t something we had to afford....

...it was something we lived.

I would love to get lost in that again. Golden Saturday mornings in my garden temporarily send me to that place.

I just turned to Brawny, and you could say I had a "rough" go of it. 😬

A few years ago I quit my job, nobody knew, and I had a wonderful summer I had already stocked up on dryer sheets.
Then I took my little misses to get a job she wanted and she said he needs a job too. I lasted two weeks she's been there 3 years.
I returned to my old job to work part-time.

You know, I was just thinking something along this line when I was writing on another post.

If so shitty how much we keep loosing each year and we don't even notice it, till we try to relive it.

Like the stuff I did in the late 80s - early 90 as a young adult. I would go to jail for today for - and that was just house party stuff. That's not even bringing up the real crimes we did to each other. We called them pranks, but what it was vandalism and personal injury to each other. 🤣🤣🤣

We were metal drunk nut cases that got away with murder.

I think this existed only in our memories, but what great memories there are to have,
