How do I find joy in my life again ?

I have been feeling really down lately sad,depressed I'm unsure how to feel happy again I have gone through a lot in the past year
To learn from past (bad) experiences. It's not always easy, I talk from my own experiences, but this is the only advice that worked for me. Count your blessings, learn from the past, and move on. Those are the words I have been telling myself. And be aware of your thoughts too. I mean, ask yourself what you focus on the most. Try to focus yourself on good things, imagine often good futures. Listen to uplifting songs. Occupational therapy. Helping other people. Those things can help. Things will get better.
馃 Keep choosing it every day.
Rather each moment when you feel being pushed towards melancholy, drag yourself towards the things that appeal to you in the first place, like: interesting company that can also guide you (parents can be the first choice), playful amusement rides, snacks (healthy)of your taste, motivational numbers ... and most importantly, let yourself loose while putting an honest attempt.

I was seeing a therapist on and off after the divorce and that is exactly what he said to me. "It was as if all the joy was gone from my life.". And it was. Has it returned? Probably not, but I'm not bothering to look for it anymore.

Try to slowly change your thoughts. Happiness is a mental thing. Try to let the past go as well as negative thoughts and feelings. Slowly change your thinking. I hope you cheer up soon

I wish I could tell you it gets easier but it doesn't..build yourself up be the best you and you will find your happiness
maybe stop thinking much about the things/ppl who upset you previous year..do things for ur happiness ;) u cant b happy unless u try to :)
