I don`t know, I`m not there yet.

When my dad was 98 plus I was realizing that his reality was somewhat different than mine, like he was in a different realm...hard to describe, but life takes on some new meanings at that point. All the noise we deal with every day becomes unimportant and the immediate surroundings are all that exist....sort of.

Other than the usual physical issues, it isn't too bad except when some people confuse old age with wisdom. I don't feel any wiser than I did when I was 35, and I know I've forgotten more than I ever knew.

I am just "old" but let me say this -

I think somewhere in our late 30's, our maturity peaks. After that, immaturity starts to creep back in.

So being normal "old" is kind of cool cause we can act like jackasses again.

@Longpatrol and I were talking about this some time back, he mentioned that maybe the reason for the peak of maturity is because most of us have kids when we are mid-30's, so we have to "set the example".

I cannot imagine myself being an example for anyone, God help them if they look at me as an example.

I'm in your age range but my back and shoulders think they're twice as old so Imma say feels bad man lol
