I got attacked in the school yard aged 10. I of course fought back. We were separated and taken to the head mistress. She cross checked and confirmed I was not the aggressor.
She asked Miss chalmers to fetch the “heavy strap” . It was brought in with great ceremony . Brown rather than black with 3 not 2 tails.
I witnessed her give 6 absolute crackers to the bully. He was crying by 4 and needed encouraged to cross his hands for the last 2. She admonished him as he blobbed. “ I can do this every day if you like-if you bully again I will strap the hands of your arms”.
All was right in the world. Revenge and protection.

I got only 3 with that dreadful tawse. Far worse than the daily classroom version. I had to breathe deep and shake hard to not cry. One more and I was gone. I think she sensed that and stopped. The relative kindness of 1970s.
But overall I felt far safer and a major bully ceased within the school precincts. At least.

11th grade. Stole the master list of all locker combinations in the school. And got caught

We once turned the teacher's desk around. When she came in she screamed, "somebody stole my draws."

Year 8 (12-13 years old). During a birthday party in my boarding school dorm. Consumed far too much sugar and persisted in screaming along to Spice Girls tracks, despite being asked three times by a teacher to shut up. I and another girl were removed to a different bedroom to "practise being quiet" 🥺

I was in little school, I wrote all over a specific set of school steps with a big black felt tip pen asking my pal to meet me there, I was caught because we had to show our hands to the teachers and mine were completely covered in ink 🫟 Oops 😅 lol 😂

I got into big trouble for that.

I swore at a girl who was bullying others as we had an argument. We got caught and got detention.
Another time my friend and I locked the bully in the toilets and let off stink bombs but she told the teacher so we got more detention.
I also forgot my pe kit a good few times as well.
I was mostly aged 15-17 when I was a bit naughty.
We also rang some doorbells and ran away but thankfully the school never found out.

I cheated on a algebra test and i was soooo dumb i had version B of the test and copied version A like 100% but i was so bad at algebra i even solved for the same letters as them hahah

The high school boy's gym teacher was marching a TROOP of boys down the hall, and they ALL had attitude. There was something very ANGRY about ALL of them. They were marching in rows three across.

I was walking down the hall with an armload of books, and suddenly, one of the boys broke formation and elbowed me, HARD, so that ALL my books fell on the floor and my papers went everywhere.

I yelled, "HEY!!!"

ALL of a sudden the boy's GYM TEACHER comes marching back and GRABS me by the arm and starts MARCHING me down the hall. He was heading me toward the principal's office.

The VICE Principal was available, and the gym teacher hauled me into his office and told that vice-principal that I had caused a commotion in the hall. I explained what had REALLY happened.

When the vice-principal asked me if I wanted him to call my PARENTS, in a shaking and angry voice I said, "Please DO call my parents, so that I can tell them how this...this... (pause)...."Gentleman" grabbed me by the arm and MAN-handled me down the hallway."

Obviously this shocked BOTH of them into reality...and the vice-principal told me I was dismissed, and to go to my class, but he asked the boy's gym teacher to remain so that he could have a word with him.

5th grade cheating in math class,got caught in the act .
The teacher said Rachael,I can't believe you did this I'm very ashamed of you.
I never did it again.

In 9th grade we got caught by the principal cutting class. If you're going to cut class, stay as far away from the school as possible.

I may or may not have helped with putting laxitives in baked good and may or may have not gave them out to people at school who messed with me and my friends....in 10th grade ....and may have gotten suspended for it 😶

Getting caught playing dodgeball where we shouldn't have and accidentally blasting a teacher in the face. That earned me a permanent reputation as his prime suspect.

Year 10 at high school.

I dropped a condom full of water from the 4th floor on to what I believed were female students.

WRONG, they were female teachers

I was suspended for 3 weeks

Hahaha I wouldn't know where to start.

Hit a teacher on the bum with a wet towel

I got in trouble AND met the hard and swift board of education. Worse yet, I was (this time) innocent!

As I remember it I was in 6th grade - maybe 7th. Anyway there was this solo recital by a violin player being held in the gym and our class was lined up two abreast next to another class also two abreast waiting to get into the gym. I was next two one of cutest girls in class and she was next to a guy from the other class... we'd been waiting for a few minutes and of course, all of us were getting restless.

Next thing I knew Miss Cutey jumped forward and screamed - a teacher coming over to us started to tell he to settle down when. as she was rubbing her skirt covered bottom and staring at me with daggers in her eyes, she said "He pinched my bottom!"

I hadn't and had no clue what was going on but the next thing I knew I was in the Principal's office being told how inappropriate it was to touch, much less "fondle" a girls bottom (this was in the 50s).

I got 5 hard hits on my bottom from what I remember at the time looked like a massive timber, which was a paddle about the sized of ping-pong paddle only thicker and had longer handle. It had holes drilled through the swatting surface to prevent any air cushion from developing.

I was also sent home for 3 days where I of course got first talked to by mom and another paddling from dad.

The day after returning to school a kid who was in the line next to us confessed to me he'd done it. I told him I wouldn't rat him out to the principal but he had to tell Miss Cutey.

I later told mom and dad and said said "Well, we'll just count that paddling as one for other things you did and didn't get caught at.🤣

Of course, I was an angel and stayed that way.
