Why would a guy wait on a girl advances?

I was shy and didn't know how to kiss. We were 15, and she had to make the first move. She did not give me a good review in her diary, but she taught me well.

I find most normal guys (as in not ones asking out every girl they see) are looking for any sign it would be okay. Too many guys are labeled creeps or worse just for showing interest so once burned by one lass theyre not keen on trying again.

If theres somebody you want to make a move be open and clear. No just signals. Or heck make the first move yourself.

I have done this in the past as I was too nervous incase I did something wrong. I’m not very experienced so I was really scared that I’d look silly.

Because he doesn't really care either way is my guess. It could also be because is already attached and his subconscious is trying to make him do the right thing, but with a little push.. or pull..

If they liked them more than a one nighter, better to go slow and build a foundation of a relationship.
