is 19 and 22 a bad age gap for dating

Most people I know have a year gap of 3 to 5 years, nothing wrong with that. At the end of the day, if it is a person you really care about, as you grow older you'll find that there were more things to really worry about than a 4 year age gap for example. But it's hard to see that aspect when you are a younger age, you are living your life, so you have a different perspective.

What I've realized is that people who give you their life's advice, you listen to it, and when those moments pop up in your life, you take a look back at what they said and you begin to agree with it. There's a perspective I had when I was younger, and that perspective changes in life. You begin to prioritize the most important things as well

That's barely even an age gap. Plus age gaps don't really matter anyway. I'm 23 and my bf is 31 and it's perfectly fine

I married my wife when I was 19 and she was 21. She is 18 months older than me. Been married 57 years.
When we met I told her I was almost 16. I was 5 months away. She said she was 16. She was 17 by just over a month.

It's not gross, necessarily, but when one is fairly young a few years ago gap can lead to very different expectations and perspectives. Just something you might want to consider.

I feel like your generation was warned about age gaps and now y'all take it too far. You're literally college aged peers. You would reasonably be in the same environments and it's not a predator situation, I assume lol

Nothing wrong with that for now, but you may find him departing for a younger woman later in life. None of that is guaranteed, but usually how it goes. Keep him as your toyboy and have fun.

At those ages it does make a slight difference but it’s not bad. When you’re both in your 20s and beyond 3 years age difference will be about the same age.
