I don’t dislike snakes, but where I come from, snakes are almost always bad news because any one you come across is likely to be venomous. I’ll gladly admire them when they’re kept in some enclosure. I’d even hold one’s pet snake if they had one. But if I’m out in the wilderness in my area and I see one, I’m staying the hell away!

Yeah. I've caught a few around my place. I've been bit twice doing this. One was a Rat Snake I found in a motor home, the other was a Black Snake I rescued from the cats.
