Dear Christians if Adam and Eve is real then why aren't we all inbred?

They are real… genes have broken down tremendously!

Where did Adam and Eve's sons get their wives? I've heard people talk about this for years, but I've never heard anyone give a clear answer.

The Bible doesn’t say where Adam and Eve’s first two sons — Cain and Abel — got their wives, although it does tell us that Cain and his wife had at least one child (Enoch). The usual assumption is that Cain and Abel married their sisters. (Later this was forbidden by the Old Testament, but was necessary at the beginning of the human race.)

Don’t be sidetracked by questions like this, however — because the story of Cain and Abel is an important one, and has many lessons to teach us. (You can read it in the fourth chapter of Genesis.) Cain, the Bible tells us, became angry at his brother because God had accepted Abel’s sacrifice but rejected Cain’s sacrifice, because Cain was selfish and his heart wasn’t right before God.

Over time Cain’s anger grew, and eventually he killed his brother — thus committing the first murder. God asked him where his brother was, and his reply has echoed across the centuries: “I don’t know…. Am I my brother’s keeper?” (Genesis 4:9). Heartless and totally wrapped up in himself, Cain became the ancestor of all those through the ages who have lived by violence instead of brotherly love.

The story of Cain and Abel, however, points to an even greater truth — and that is the reality of human sin. Like a deadly cancer, sin invaded the human race with Adam and Eve, and brought evil and conflict in its wake. But Christ came to reverse all that — and it begins in our lives right now as we yield ourselves to Him. Has this happened in your life?

Not all of the Bible is even meant to be taken literally at all. But I assume you are talking to Christians that are literalists of which I am not. So, I’ll just let them try to answer.

Obviously a mythic story, with others much like it right across the world. Joseph Campbell is one writer worth looking up, an authority on myths and their meanings.

In a literalist sense, St Paul writes "For as in Adam all men die, so in Christ will all be made alive." For the literalist, this presents obvious problems.

Now it is a fact that parrots are heard actually speaking human words. The rest mimic human words. So there are talking animals.

What is mutations?

Why did God warn man not to marry (which means have sex with) your brother, your sister, your mother, your father, your aunt, your uncle?

Why - because Adam lost to himself and his offspring access to the fruit of the Tree of Life which gave man instant healing and a form of immortality - Revelation 22:2 Genesis 3:22. {Don't believe it that's okay don't}

Created from a rib - simply means the same process DNA - genetic traits -chromosomes - etc etc that was used to create Adam and differentiate him from the what man call now primates........ Yeah one can take something is small as the female seed and the male seed and create a human once they combine with each other and the same process goes with 99% of living thing including plants starts from seeds. Sounds impossible yet it is fact.

From the scientific point of view it is unknown how life got started on the earth whether through panspermia or abiogenesis. Either living organisms came from space or it's bring up spontaneously and the Bible is precise God created didn't say how but it says God created. {Don't believe it, if you choose not to that is your right - just like it is the right of the believer to believe}
And from the scientific point of view - they don't know who the first humanoid / hominoid was but there was definitely was a first and from that first came all others -from the homo erectus, to the neanderthal, to the Homo sapien and all in between..........

Well obviously Adam and Eve's genetics must have been slightly different,, more sturdy,, stronger then the genetics of today.. Things that could be done in the past cannot be done today..

Because we believe in God... These things are easy peasy for a Creator God who created the universe with His will.. OF course if you don't believe in God then all these things automatically become unbelievable..

That only happens between immediate family members.

I think it's a true story but metaphorical. It is symbolic for first man and first women. As like all the bible stories it is symbolic of what really happened. Adam is an ancient word meaning earth. There might have been hundreds of Adam when the world began. That's my thoughts on it.

Well, if one studies a few more stories of the creation of the world at the time one would discover that it's firstly not unique, secondly a product of its time, and thirdly pronouncedly more significant than anything that you have obviously read recently

Adam had the first abortion according to the Bible story which by the way is an outdated collection of fairy tales.

All humans on Earth are at least 50th-100th cousins to each other.

More to the point, didn't Adam and Eve have only two SONS?

You can’t apply science to mythology. According to Genesis, Adam didn’t have his third child, Seth, over a hundred years after Abel was killed. All that time and sex with Eve, no results. Imagine a hundred years old Eve giving birth at her age.

So much for being fruitful and multiplying.

The story of Adam and Eve was given to ancient mankind because God could not explain the real truth about creation to them. Imagine if you will, if, God told them they were created from the primate and that the original primtes evolved into human beings. Mankind now has science to investigate the stories told to our ancestors. Even now man will have difficulty beleiveing that we evolved into human being from primates or apes. But the truth has been given to mankind now. We know longer have to belieive in the stories told in the Bible or other books of religion. I mean, have you looked at the human design? The trachea is right next to the esophagus, drastically increasing the chance of choking on our food. Everything depends on a functioning pancreas, without which you're basically screwed. In fact, no one organ is redundant except for the kidneys. I'd say that's a pretty screwed up model.

Let's not forget, even after Adam and eve it bottlenecks again with Noah's family.
