Dear Christians if Adam and Eve is real then why aren't we all inbred?

Story doesn't make sense. And why do you still believe this in the 21st century including talking animals and a woman being created from Adam's rib.

Inbreeding brings genetic diseases and reduces birth rates and increases risks of deformities.

If this is true, then why aren't all 8 billion people on Earth is deformed and messed up?

I think it's a true story but metaphorical. It is symbolic for first man and first women. As like all the bible stories it is symbolic of what really happened. Adam is an ancient word meaning earth. There might have been hundreds of Adam when the world began. That's my thoughts on it.
