Do you believe in God?

The adage I use is: If it’s not science, it’s superstition. I was raised Roman Catholic, my skepticism took decades to accept myself as a freethinker.

I won't go into it too much as it's a personal thing for everyone. But when you look into the planet as a whole, and the life in it, the intricate way things are made, I think there certainly has to be some kind of a creator. It's too easy to say 'no proof' without looking more closely.

God does give us common sense to get away from people that are out to do nothing but harm us. Some people who are abusive, think they're getting away with things, but that's not the case at all. We can't keep making bad decisions and then blame God.

God came to help us, not hurt us. If you think life is bad now, then ignore God. He wants to do nothing but help us. All things are possible to those who love the Lord and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. The devil sure isn't going to help us. He just wants to hurt us. Look at the following verse. Does that sound like God's out to hurt us? God doesn't cause messes, he fixes them. But we have to do our part too, in trusting him and getting away from toxic situations and that means cut them off and out of your life completely. When we keep doing the same thing, we keep getting the same thing, the God is not the cause.

I believe in God, but not in the way that Christianity depicts it. The only thing you can do is fix your own life because God is not going to fix your life for you. You need to put yourself in a better situation away from these people because it really sounds like you, my friend, are involved with people that are a lot of trouble so move far away and cut off all ties and start fresh

I believe in god. I also believe life gets hard sometimes. Its how we handle it that defines us.

Well, they say that devil leaves the bad alone. Cause their place is already set in hell.

It's the good ones that he bothers.

Also, They say that God never gives us more than we can handle.

So, when life gets tough, know that the Lord knows that we can handle it.

Sometimes I wonder why my Life is so hard ....smh.

I try, everyday, to secure my place in heaven.

The only justice that exists comes for justice humans make themselves. Your life will get better if you accept that. God is a crutch for humans to avoid taking accountability for their own destiny.

Something to think about. Jesus already proved himself once. He doesn't have to do it again. Even if you just look at yourself in the mirror, you will be seeing a miracle. 🌹

Jesus says in Matthew 24 that many will fall away from faith in the last generation before he comes to judge the living and the dead. Don't fall away. Turn to Jesus he will help you, and do what he says, to love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you!

I believe in God with every bit of my mind, heart, and soul. AND I love Him deeply. He is my Father in so many ways.

But He is not, and never has been, my magic fairy. He does NOT protect me from life...nor does He protect me from evil people. I have to accept responsibility for the people with whom I CHOOSE to hang out.

God did not promise to wrap you up in cotton wool and make it all perfect. He DOES promise to give you strength to cope with it all. He promised you comfort in times of sorrow, and He promised you LIGHT to show you your way.

Im highly skeptical. The data just isnt there. Lot of speculation and money seeking.

I don't really know. I'm still learning what I can and experiencing life looking for knowledge that might take a lifetime anyway. So I try to be open but I do have my beliefs.

As far as the bullshit, that's always been a part of life. Violence and chaos and human. Some people really suck. I wish it wasn't the case also, but there are ways keep some or all of it away from you.

I believe that our Grandeouse OverlorD (GOD) was a conceptualization to extract power control and renumerations from a community that in the time period had no other community supports. Does humanity share certain values goals needs wants and struggles universally? Yes. Should some italian men in a medival social structure dictate the peoples future. No.
Get over it i say its the year 2024. In todays world the entire notion would have been overwith before jesus was even dead. Thatd be about 0035 CE (35 AD). AND I GO TO CHURCH. For holidays or if i need bread.

I have a feeling there are a lot of gods. The Judeo/Christian/Muslim one doesn't seem to be very nice. I like the Hindu and Ancient Egyptian ones best.

I wouldn’t knock anyone else’s belief because at the end of the day we all need something but religion is definitely not for me. I only have faith in myself and believe in my own spirit.
