That's so sad, I'm sorry you have to deal with that bull crap. People suck and are very stupid. You can't be very intelligent if you choose to hate someone only because of the color of their skin.

CactusJackManson · 46-50, M
This is a f*cking lie. I live in the South and nobody is trying to drive black people off the road.
CactusJackManson · 46-50, M
@Lexiitexii You just disproved your main point-- that crime against black women is because of white racism.
thenormalkindofcrazy · 31-35, M
@CactusJackManson Live in the south as well, even further south. Ain't nobody trying to drive anyone off the road.
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@thenormalkindofcrazy so I’m making up that I get yelled at and told to gtfo the way monkey ? I got called a monkey last night. These events are happening to me daily. Y’all are just in denial. Y’all think just because you can sleep with different races and all y’all yt daughters are with Blk men that racism is dead it’s not it’s alive and well.
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
My aunt went to the southern us and she said the racism towards blacks is insane lol. You could come to Canada
sladejr · 56-60, M
@Zonuss I played in a fast pitch softball league in Cambridge a few years. The racial tension in the self proclaimed most liberal place on Earth was palpable.

Amazing in our league with excellent athletes there was not one black player😳
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@sladejr That area has a lot of German and Irish descendants.
sladejr · 56-60, M
@Zonuss Boston has the Irish. Milwaukee the German and Polish
I tried your question with google's "Bard" AI. I hope it helps!

The prompt: what are the safest US cities for black women and why?
[sep][sep][sep]

Determining the "safest" cities for any demographic group is a complex task, as safety is nuanced and influenced by various factors like individual experiences, socioeconomic status, and access to resources. However, considering several indicators, we can identify cities that generally exhibit positive trends for Black women's safety:

Cities with low crime rates:

Raleigh, North Carolina: This city boasts a relatively low overall crime rate and ranks highly in personal safety, with a strong sense of community and a focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa: With a steadily decreasing crime rate and a focus on community policing, Cedar Rapids provides a relatively safe environment for Black women.

Plano, Texas: Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Plano offers a safe haven with a low violent crime rate and a vibrant, diverse community.

Cities with strong economic opportunities:

Atlanta, Georgia: As a major Black cultural hub, Atlanta offers a strong economy with diverse career opportunities and resources specifically tailored to support Black women entrepreneurs and professionals.

Washington, D.C.: With its high concentration of government jobs and educational institutions, Washington D.C. offers promising economic prospects and a large Black community with established support networks.

Charlotte, North Carolina: Boasting a robust financial sector and a burgeoning tech scene, Charlotte provides diverse economic opportunities, particularly for Black women in STEM fields.

Cities with high accessibility to healthcare:

Minneapolis, Minnesota: This city boasts a robust healthcare system with numerous hospitals and clinics, ensuring access to quality medical care for Black women.

Seattle, Washington: With its focus on innovation and healthcare access, Seattle provides a supportive environment for Black women with access to specialized healthcare services.

Boston, Massachusetts: Renowned for its world-class medical institutions, Boston offers excellent healthcare resources for Black women, including access to specialized care and research initiatives.

Cities with strong social support networks:

Durham, North Carolina: Home to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and a vibrant Black community, Durham provides a strong social support network and a sense of belonging for Black women.

Baltimore, Maryland: Despite facing certain challenges, Baltimore's strong Black community offers extensive resources and support networks for Black women, including mentorship programs and advocacy groups.

New Orleans, Louisiana: This culturally rich city boasts a tight-knit Black community with a strong sense of resilience and support, offering a welcoming environment for Black women.

It's important to remember that these are just general trends, and individual experiences can vary greatly within each city. Ultimately, the "safest" city for a Black woman depends on her specific needs and priorities. Further research and consideration of individual circumstances are crucial before making any decisions.

[sep][sep][sep]

Yeah so it's semi interesting, but the fact that Baltimore appeared on one of the lists makes me a little dubious.
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@ElwoodBlues Yeah and Atlanta cause I just saw a lady in Atlanta listing a bunch of places you don’t want to go because your not safe. It’s kinda nerve racking because while I’m trying to escape racism or go to places with less racism, I’m also trying to avoid crime riddled, drug riddled places. Honestly feel like the blk community needs help creating safe neighborhoods for blk women and children. I also feel like when those were getting built they were burned down to the ground in history but racist. So now women and children of today are starting to feel it. A lot of us don’t have money to be overcharged and moving into yt communities that most of us are not welcome in.
So I tried a 2nd prompt, because cutting & pasting is easy.

@ElwoodBlues Thank you tonight I got told to gtfo the road then called me a monkey. I don’t feel safe here and it makes me sad because I have to leave the place I was raised and where my grandfather lived all his life and I’m sure he thought it would get better in 2023 he died in 2009 but it’s really not. Yes people may be sleeping with ppl of different races but no one is making any changes. Wow we can marry and sleep together but no one is helping end racism down here. I’m on the road from 8am till 1am the next day some nights and I see a lot. It’s worse it’s like history repeating it’ self.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
Oregon and Washington are safe states. Pretty accepting of anyone near the cities.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Livingwell She isn't experiencing racism. Check her posts she is a diva who thinks the world is jealous at her beauty and money and fancy car and every normal daily situation is her being a victim lol.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Queendragonfly I didn't read it that way. Thanks for the heads up.
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@Livingwell She is lieing and trying to gaslight me. This is another crazy person on the internet trying to gaslight me. I even have high blood pressure because of the levels of stress that I have encountered. I can’t make up any of the real things that are happening in my life. Why would I make up people trying to run me off the road, why would I make up those girls purposely trying to block me in. I was in the car with a yt woman who witnessed two white men yell that they hatr black eomen into a mega phone at us. She can’t believe what’s happening to me because she will never be black or live her life as a black woman. This is how most white women think I’m bragging when I talk about the horrible attention I recieve. In their eyes they are mad I get any attention good or bad. Even my pain angers them.
calicuz · 51-55, M
No, they are just cowards that get a rise out of scaring people.
You might try the South West, like Arizona or New Mexico. The Midwest is ok, here in K.C. Mo. anyway, but the racism is still present, but not to the degree you described, just a bunch rich folks, with no manners or class. Florida seems nice, ut they might just be nice to tourists.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@calicuz You should probably read her other posts. She is a victim in every situation. Because of according to her fancy jeep. And being pretty. And black.

I have met narcissists with similar world image. They think everyone is jealous and threatened by their money and beauty. Then they make up scenarios in their head where they are always the target.

While objectively. They never were. They were just in normal situations where normal things that happens to all people also happened to them.

At a parking lot. Sometimes it gets messy and you can't drive before another car has moved. She sees that as harassment.

In a store where the workers tail random people and lock in their groceries to prevent theft of she thinks they only tail her.

When a car blink when going from full light to half light, she thinks it's personal attacks.

These posts will keep coming where the world is against her and is jealous of her.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
I know what you mean. It's gotten to where even people of our own race act like sh*t towards us for fondness towards people of other races and nobody believes it. Watch me stay silent as the flaming starts.

Damnable race hustlers.

I'm white. Kinda. I can tell some of the replys here aren't understanding where this is being started. Our own race starts making people we talk to angry and then us who aren't racist because we happen to be nearby end up getting the guff over it.

I put up with it for about 50 years. But I'm a dude with military training and not that easy to scare or hurt. Pitting the worst of them against each other, giving the rest a clue I wasn't to be easily gamed worked until I got older.

I got no advice for you but follow your instincts to move when that seems like the only answer. As it too eventually became my only choice.

Sorry some small number of our people are so easily fooled by the worst of yours, and mine. Just know that only 2% make trouble for the rest. Those other weak stupid 40% who become less tolerant in groups suck as well but cowards will be cowards.

I hate being from the south, and I don't know I was born here, why I was born in this racist place, it's like a curse from nature.

Northwest · M
Sounds iegit. Are you playing a fantasy game, set in the late 1950s?
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@Northwest That’s wtf it feels like honestly. I’m like wtf. The even crazier part is I moved to this city when I was 15 it very multicultural, they drove out all the blk business, the food, the culture and turned it into a sundown town. I can’t make this up. There’s isn’t even soul food spots here. This city use to be the city everyone would come to for night life, food, shopping, clubs, parties, skating rinks. One time I had a blk friend come to visit me and he was scared he was like girl you should’ve told me you lived way out here in this sundown town, he was followed. It’s began a little before covid. I don’t hate trump but a lot of blk people were pushed out this town when he was elected but during Covid he did do a lot of business and people. I’m not trying to talk politics cause I don’t know. They saw Trump as a pass to get rid of blk people.
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@Northwest When I first moved back here I thought I was coming back to a lively town I grew up in. The first thing I said was where did all the blk people go. Where is all the food and life? Even my white friend told me they were ran out with a weird look on her face. Someone needs to write a book about this I feel like I’m in a Jordan Peele movie. : /
Elisbch · M
If you're carrying these high emotions on your sleeve, you're going to get noticed quicker and if you're an "in your face" kind of person, you're going to get noticed more and probably have more confrontations. Good luck finding a safe city. Definitely stay out of the south.

The midwest has become much more accepting of blacks over the last few years first it was white daughters marrying black men but now its black women marrying white men and the kids are doing ok socially in school

I hate being from the south it's a curse from nature. I am nature's mistake and a freak of nature, I deserve to die because of this.

Racism is a childish thing but it exists. Texas is no better than anywhere else I suspect but I have never seen any hate.
@TexChik really ?

Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@Peaceandnamaste I’m sorry I don’t hate it here but it’s not for the week. Like I’m college I had a pretty diverse friend circle then as we got older we just spaced out.
eMortal · M
I think it’s trauma talking. You’ve crossed that step where everything is perceived as aggression. You need to talk to someone. But if your life is really in danger, move to the West Coast. No one cares in California and Washington whether or not the price of your car matches the color of your skin.
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@eMortal I’m not just being dramatic less than 24 hours has passed I just got off work while I was finishing a job, someone from a white pick up truck told me to gtfo out the road and called me a Monkey!!! This is everyday life blk ppl are not just making this up. It’s not my trauma talking. You know what’s traumatic is getting hatred everyday. It’s even weirder because y’all know what this country is built on and then y’all are turning around and telling me what I’m saying and seeing and witnessing isn’t true. Tonight less than a hour ago since I been home I got called a monkey. !!! By two grown yt men. Idk if I want to pray or curse them.

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
How was it living in Wyoming?
Lexiitexii · 31-35, F
@cherokeepatti To be honest it was traumatic but I was a child I left when I was 12 but it was no where near as bad as NC. I thought things would change as I got older but it’s getting worse. I even had white friends that witnessed me being mistreated and just stood there silent. It’s like a unwritten code for them to all stand with each other. I had to end those friendships. I feel like I’m in another time peridot. I’m sick.
RuyLopez · 56-60, M

As someone who lives in the south and have experienced racism and discrimination many times, I understand. Racism is worse in smaller southern towns, maybe move to a bigger city or out of the state. Washington State might be a good place to live.

Colored women?
Zonuss · 41-45, M
And stop with that crap about Black men not wanting to protect Black women. No man of any race wants to protect a woman who doesn't respect herself or others especially in public. If you act like an animal people are gonna treat you like one. I work and hang around Whites all the time. I never had the problems you had ever. 🙂 So just be a good person. Leave the Pookie and Ray Rays alone. And you'll be just fine. 😊

Go West young woman.....

But avoid Utah
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Dear. This has nothing to do with you being in the South. You were in the wrong city at the wrong time. I can tell you that North Carolina outside these hick towns that the notable cities and larger towns are not racist. Especially in black out Greensboro , Durham , and Charlotte. But the small hick towns there is definitely racism. Move somewhere where there is at least 15 percent Black American.
There are plenty of places down here where there is about 50 to 60 percent Black American.
Don't be picky. Get in where you fit in.
And stay there. Ok. Good luck. 😊🇺🇲

@Queendragonfly Get a life someone knows when they are being harassed. When everyday people tail my car, flash me and try to drive me off the road and make me crash my car. Then I was blocked in my two white women who saw me get out my car and wouldn’t move so I can back out my car they sat there waiting for a reaction out of me. Get a life you don’t know me or live in my skin. I have been good to yt women and helped them and even feed them and gave them money, Those same yt women stood silent when they witnessed a yt man yell that he hated black eomen out a mega phone. In front of us while I was sitting in my Jeep. You can’t believe me because your not me and you never will be. You couldn’t survive a day in my shoes. This level of harassment is enough to make someone have a mental break down yet I still walk with my head high and keep going. This is why so many women don’t come for ward because of people like you. You just wanted some attention today so here you go.
thenormalkindofcrazy · 31-35, M
@Queendragonfly You spoke the truth to someone that I sincerely hope is roleplaying, otherwise just someone with a massive victim fetish.
