Do you think it’s appropriate to punch someone for hitting on your partner right infront of you?

Punching is a common man's resort. Id rather they duel to death

I don't think it's justified there, but I also wouldn't feel bad for the guy getting punched.

No. I’d say it’s your partner’s job to let one hitting on them know that they’re taken.

If she felt threatened or scared i think its fine lol. More men need to start knocking other men out for the safety of women.

I think that would depend a lot on just how the person was "hitting" on one's partner. In general, I agree that punching the guilty part is not most justified of responses.

Like you mentioned, we only have the clip to work with. If there was more going on, maybe justified. But hitting on her once and getting punched in an overreaction.

I think it's justified.. a man shouldn't hit a woman, they are much stronger and so shouldn't hit someone weaker and less able to defend themselves.. A man vs another man is a more even match.. and it's likely to have triggered his protective instincts..

But as you reasonably state.. there could be more we don't know.. but it's hard to imagine how anything could justify the first guy hitting the woman.

Depends if the other person knows they're together or not. Though I think its always understandable tbh.

there is no good reason for a man raising his hand to a woman. He's leaving the situation with a broken nose, some teeth missing, jaw broken...something.

Maybe if it was the girl doing the punching, but no it's a very last resort as far as I'm concerned.

I enjoy watching them hit on her and get rejected. If she gives me the signal, I move in and politely ask the other man to try his luck on someone else.

Much of that is dependent on how my wife reacts.
