If you're not scheming to get closer, not hoping to make contact, not planning to get him to notice you and do double-takes, then you sound normal to me. But don't turn into a paparazzo; that would be annoying at best. If you're young, let the feeling last through the wash, then rinse and repeat with a new crush. Keep it light, brief, and to yourself.
