is it normal to stalk my crush?

I don't go insane like find his address but from time to time I'll take a pic while he isn't noticing, look through his socials and screenshot pics from them and I glance when he is near me. He doesn't even know me. Is this normal?

Taking a pic and pinning it up at home is lots like having a poster of your movie idol on your wall, or writing him to ask for a glossy. Scanning his socials is like buying People Magazine to moon over your latest love. It's what's in your mind that counts. If you're not scheming to get closer, not hoping to make contact, not planning to get him to notice you and do double-takes, then you sound normal to me. But don't turn into a paparazzo; that would be annoying at best. If you're young, let the feeling last through the wash, then rinse and repeat with a new crush. Keep it light, brief, and to yourself.
