Do some men enjoy drama in their relationship?

One of my cousins, he dated someone who took part occasionally in a bit of drama, and I wondered sometimes if he enjoyed it. 😬
And I was recently watching an old episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where Bruce Jenner was discussing recently being divorced from Kris. He said he sometimes did miss the drama. 😮
Do you think men do enjoy drama in their relationship?

My husband sure does. He creates most if it
Gibbon · 70-79, M
No just simply no. OMG the stories of my 2nd ex who saved all the drama for home and gave it to me. And everyone else in her outside world thought she was so nice.

I'm sure some do, and this is why Kardashians has an audience.
EagerDaddy · 41-45, M
Some do…they’re almost human
1490wayb · 61-69, M
definitely...it is personality trait not a gender issue
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
@1490wayb I have some hilarious drama. I broke up with one gf and then she came over to my place. My recent ex happened to show up and the two of them met face to face. Two angry women checking each other out on my porch… the tension was intense! Then they turned on me. I had been dancing around half naked while cooking and at that moment the ghostbuster song came on… it was near Halloween… so a laughed at them and said … I ain’t afraid of no hoes!!! Anyways they threw lattes at my door! Oh well. I still slept with both of them that winter.

Most don't but for the sake of their relationship endure it
GoFish · 41-45, F
i think they enjoy the heated relationship despite the drama eh? not the drama itself?
ThatGuyOverThere · 36-40, M
there's necessary drama, to maintain and soliditify the the relationship. but then there's uneccesary drama, where little shit gets made up; picked apart and talked about. I personally don't mind bs drama: little couple shit: laundry, groceries, tech issues issues with phone and texts didn't go through; hell, even of we forgot to get some thing at the store. cool.

but things that cause legit fights? yeah, nah.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@ThatGuyOverThere I'm referring to also where the woman talks of endless friends drama, work drama, etc..
ThatGuyOverThere · 36-40, M
@Baybreeze i kinda figured.. lol
BrandNewMan · 61-69, M
Some .. not most
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F

Kiesel · 56-60, M
Good gawd, no
I can tell you I definitely do not.
Drama is the fastest way to never see me again.
@robingoodfellow i hate drama queens
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
Most men dont enjoy any drama....
Especially calm, peaceful men....

I know most women like it.....

I sometimes ask myself do some women find peace boring?
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@SilentObZerver I enjoy peace more than ANYTHING. Im the literally opposite of drama. So much so I wonder if some guys might find me boring lol. If they do oh well..I'll always remember one guy said to me I was a blast to hang with! It's etched in my mind🙂
@Baybreeze i once heard a group ladies having a convo , with one saying she was going to break up with her boyfriend just to create drama.....
Cos it lightens up the relationship
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@Baybreeze you should never forget what that guy said and use it to boost your insecurity about dating 🫂
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
Men who have easy, boring lives, maybe.
ThatGuyOverThere · 36-40, M

Boeing · 36-40
Don't know about men but I do love a bit of drama, but I need that level of awareness where we can fall in and out of it without dragging it for too long, that it becomes a real drama !
Mindful · 56-60, F
They might enjoy it if they're married to someone they're in love with. My husband loves zero dram. So do I. But it has a way of seeping into life if you interact with people. I keep ALOT of all that I hear to myself, but I might post it here if it's weighing heavily in my mind. But spreading drama only causes more drama. Anyhow, we keep it to a bare minimum. We Love peace and quiet.
Horace · M
No, and here's why. Women don't want us to help them or allow us to eliminate their drama. All they want is for us to listen .... yak yak yak blah blah blah yak yak yak blah blah blah yak yak yak...while we hug them.
I prefer to comfort hug once, help, and a final "MY HERO" 🤗.
antonioioio · 70-79, M
some do
some don't 🤗
I think it just depends on the attraction level. Sometimes it's a way of flirting, but I tend to be very selective about my drama.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Probably so. For the most part, I just tolerate it, because I'm a chump.
A lot of them yes. They're bored without it. Some like things nice and peaceful but there are some who are absolutely bored if there's nothing popping off and i don't get it.
TexChik · F
Until they experience it first hand.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
What kind of drama?
I believe my exbf did. We would go through these cycles and I would think things were chilling out then suddenly he'd do or say something sooooo mean. If I reacted it was all about my reaction, not what he did. It was like a sport for him.
I think sometimes people conflate stimulation with negative attention. Sometimes it replicates relationships they're used to so they seek it out again because it's their version of love. It's incredibly toxic and stressful because it's rooted in disingenuous conversations where there has to be a winner. I can't engage in that long-term. I'm not putting my nervous system through that.
TheWanderingMind · 41-45, M
Not at all. I'll agree (even though I don't) with someone just for the drama to stop and walk away. If you tell me 2+2=5 you're right
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
It can be fun occasionally
mksworld · 51-55, C
As girls we can tell that the girl fraternity eats, breathes and exumes drama almost constantly because that's what feminine energy (if there is such a thing) is driven by.

WillaKissing · 61-69, M
Not me, I hate drama of any kind of form. The fastest way to disgust me honestly.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@WillaKissing Same!!
Lilnonames · F
well when you get a sex change theres bound to be drama
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Some people do, for various reasons. I think that many subconsciously crave conflict. Why? Who knows. It could be validation, an ego stroke, or filling some kind of void.
BluntSm0ker · 100+, M
Only men that have too much sugar in the tank like drama.
empanadas · 31-35, M
I hate drama, i need peace in my life. Arguments will always happen but there's a difference between talking things out and creating unnecessary drama
