I've worked a lot with the public and I find that if someone is in a situation where a professional reason makes that they must talk with you then its inapropriate to try to make it more personal. its like they're trapped. its creepy. in my business I've interacted with men and women, sometimes beautiful women, but never have I used that context to aproach them personally.

well, id think it would be common courtesy of you to give him your name as hed just done a service for you. he is probably just a lonely person who wanted a name to a face. of course its within your rights to withhold that information but it does seems kind of overly suspicious and cautious of you. the guy just risked his life and car driving for you and you couldnt even tell him your name? i mean, it sure shows what kind of opinion you have of doordash drivers no matter how creepy he may have seemed.
